Testament and Promise

Each of us experiences grief, and each and every one of us has tears. No
one can say when, or when not, to cry. Nor how long the tears should fall.
Hold fast to your memories of smiles and laughter. Remember the warmth of
hugs, the gentleness of kisses, the touch of a hand , the scent of perfume
or cologne, or the sound of familiar footsteps. Remember both the serious
moments and the silly ones.
In days to come think on friendship, games played, dinners shared and plans
made. Live your life as both testament and promise. Honour their memory by
achieving anything and everything that is possible. Achieve with respect,
with humility and with faith.

Jalani kehidupan
Anda baik bukti dan janji . Hormatilah memori mereka dengan mencapai
sesuatu dan segala sesuatu yang mungkin . Mencapai dengan hormat , dengan
kerendahan hati dan iman .

I have been in Asia since early 1996, and have taught in local schools, universities and language schools in South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, and China. I was director of studies at language schools in China and a secondary school administrator in Indonesia. Along the way, I've been a teacher-trainer in Korea, China, Thailand, and Indonesia. More importantly, and I hope more efficiently, I've been a husband, father and grandfather.
